As the all functions which theDIR9001 provides can be controlled directly throughcontrol pins, it can be used easily in an applicationsystem that does not have a microcontroller. Also, asdedicated pins are provided for the channel-status bitand user-data bit,processing of their information canbe easilyaccomplished by connecting with amicrocontroller, DSP, or others.
